Massimiliano Caraffa is Managing Director and Partner on the Carlyle Europe Partners investment advisory team, and Head of Consumer, Media, and Retail in Europe. He is a Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors of Golden Goose and also sits on the boards of Dainese (as Chairman), END., Design Holding Spa, Hunkemöller International BV, TWINSET, Tessitura Sidoti, and Twin-Set Shoes.
Prior to joining Carlyle in 2004, he was an Associate at McKinsey & Company in Milan (Italy) for three years. Born in 1975, Massimiliano received an MSc in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering magna cum laude from the University of Genoa (Italy) and an MBA from INSEAD.
