Lino Pasquin
Lino joined the Company in 2021 as Product Director and was subsequently promoted to Industrial & Product Director, expanding his responsibilities to include the coordination of the Group’s production plants.
Prior to joining Golden Goose, Lino worked at Sergio Rossi, where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including Production & Planning Manager, Head of Supply Chain, and ultimately Operations Director. He began his professional career at Giorgio Armani, initially serving as Supply Chain & Industrial Controller before moving into the role of Planning Manager.
Born in 1982, Lino graduated from University of Padua with a degree in Political Science.
A special moment that I still cherish was during a visit to one of our manufacturing sites, I was used to seeing flawless standardization. But watching a craftsman use brushes and delicate handwork to give each sneaker its own character and lived-in soul completely changed my perspective. In that moment, I realized that before focusing on the product itself, I needed to immerse myself in the people, the culture, and the emotions behind Golden.
What is your favorite Golden sneaker or item, and what makes it special to you?My favorite Golden sneaker style is the Super-Star: a timeless icon and an incredibly versatile model. Wearing it makes me feel authentic and original in any setting.
If you were to explain the importance of craftsmanship to younger generations, what lever would you focus on most?When talking about Golden Goose, I’d focus not only on the technical side of craftsmanship, but especially on the passion every artisan puts into each sneaker with their own hands. I’d tell them that at Golden, they have the chance to create something unique - something that can express emotions and personality through every step of the process.
