Oliver Weisberg

Oliver began his career on Wall Street before joining Goldman Sachs, where he was part of the Company’s Asian Special Situations and Principal Investment Area divisions. He played a key role in the firm’s investment in Alibaba and served on Alibaba’s board. In 2006, he joined Citadel as a Partner in Hong Kong before moving to Blue Pool Capital in 2015. He also oversees Blue Pool Capital’s sports investments and is a minority owner of BSE Global and the Miami Dolphins.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Oliver is committed to education and philanthropy. He was a board member of Teach for China for over a decade and currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Harvard University Shanghai Center and the Harvard China Fund. He is also a board member of the Squash + Education Alliance (SEA) and a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization and the Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin.

Born in 1972, Oliver wrote his undergraduate thesis at Harvard College on comparative Chinese / Russian Privatization.
