MAUREEN CHIQUET
Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, Maureen Chiquet is also member of the Inclusion & Belonging Committee and Ethics Committee of Golden Goose.
Maureen has a long professional career in the fashion industry. She entered the luxury world through Chanel, where she served as Chief Executive Officer for more than twelve years as of 2007, following her previous appointment as the company’s President and Chief Operational Officer in July 2003. Before then, she was named President of Banana Republic (acquired by Gap Inc.) in 2002, and EVP Merchandising, Production, and Planning at Old Navy in 1994, holding the role for eight years. As of 1989, she spent five years as part of the Merchandising Department at Gap Inc., after serving four years as Product Manager at L’Oréal, where here career took off in 1985. Maureen is a speaker and author of the book Beyond the Label: Women, Leadership & Success on Our Own Terms.
Born in 1963, Maureen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Literature from YALE University.
