MARCO DE BENEDETTI
Marco De Benedetti is a Non-Executive Director of the Board of Directors of Golden Goose. He currently serves as Chair of Italy for The Carlyle Group where he has been since 2005, he is Vice-Chairman and Non-Executive Director at Moncler Group, and Director at CIR S.p.A., playing a key role in guiding the strategic direction and governance of these companies.
Before his tenure at The Carlyle Group, Marco briefly served as Chief Executive Officer at Telecom Italia S.p.A. in 2005 and, prior to that, as Chief Executive Officer at TIM S.p.A. as of 1998, where he led the company through a significant period of growth and technological advancement. Born in 1962, Marco holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business in Philadelphia (USA) and a degree in Economics from Wesleyan University in Middletown (USA).
